Roujun Yip and Audrey Weishan Kong welcome you all to come and experience their nurturing Senses and Stillness Yoga in Singapore.
“... we hope to introduce you to Yoga that is essentially nurturing and respectful of the mind and body - and contrary to the more commonly encountered 'no pain, no gain' attitudes."
Inspired by the gentleness and holistic nature of Senses and Stillness Yoga, we have embarked on our Yoga teaching journeys here in our home of Singapore.
Our Yoga teaching is in addition to maintaining our full time careers in other areas and also maintaining our family responsibilities, so we understand very well how the normal daily stresses and strains can build up and eventually disturb our balance in various ways. And it is through experiencing first-hand what Yoga has brought into each of our lives that we share our teaching.
Conducting primarily community-centric classes on the Little Red Dot, we hope to introduce you to our Yoga that is essentially nurturing and respectful of the mind and body - and contrary to the more commonly encountered 'no pain, no gain' attitudes.
Classes in Singapore:
Yoga with a Mat and Chair, Beginners Friday 6.30pm @ Chinatown's Buddha Tooth Relic Temple - class in English
Saturday 5.30pm @ Taman Jurong - in English

Workshops in Singapore
Singapore Yoga workshops will commence in June this year (2018) with guest teachers Vijoleta and Ketut, the co-founders of Senses and Stillness, with the humble wish to extend the love and joy of sharing our practice and memories of Bali, so we will keep you posted with the dates.
About Roujun and Audrey
I'm honoured to be a Senses & Stillness teacher. It is a natural choice for me as I resonate with this special style of Yoga that comes from a place of reverence, authenticity and loving-kindness. Yoga has made its imprints of gentle acceptance and grace in other areas of my life. In the past 3 years, I have taught in a woman's shelter, Eldercare centres and grassroot communities in Singapore. Bringing this gift of Yoga to ordinary folks has been my passion, and I envision to do more for Caregivers and bereaved families. On and off the yoga mat, I aspire to live by the values of my Chinese name: Rou (Gentle) Jun (Warrior).
Roujun has a MSc in Knowledge Management, and is a RYT200 (Yoga Alliance) and Certified Senses and Stillness 200hr Teacher (2015), currently undergoing the Advanced Teacher training Program.
Audrei wants to share her love for yoga through celebrating the miracle of breath and bringing the way of being on and off the mat. She believes living yoga will truly help everyone honour their inner goodness and wisdom. Through learning and sharing yoga with others, she wants to help others experience the possibility of loving ourselves more compassionately and connecting more meaningfully with others. She welcomes everyone to join her in the wonderful yogic journey of experiencing beauty and stillness through senses.
Off the mat, Audrei is a military counsellor and a mother to two amazing kids - many times her kids parent her instead! Born with two left feet, Audrei loves dancing when no one is watching.
Audrey has a BSc (Psych), MA(Clinical Psychology), and is a RYT200 (Yoga Alliance) and Certified Senses and Stillness 200hr Teacher (2016), currently undergoing the Advanced Teacher training Program.
